Painting and Decorating - Internal Works
We have extensive experience of undertaking internal painting and decorating work.
Our experienced decorators are able to provide finishes that look great and will last. From our experience, the key to a good finish is thorough preparation.
Our services include the following:
- General painting and decorating using rollers and brushes
- Spray application - good for large areas and uneven surfaces
- Lacquered gloss and matt finishes for units built from MDF
- Lining and hanging wallpaper
- Rendering and plastering
- Installation of period cornicing and ceiling roses
- Sanding and sealing of existing wooden floors
Painting and Decorating - External Works
We also have extensive experience in carrying out external works on behalf of individuals, businesses, housing associations and block management companies.
Plumbing and Heating
We can offer a full plumbing and heating installation service by our qualified Gas Safe registered plumbers.
We can install a wide verity of hot water systems including;
- Combi boilers - provide unlimited hot water, space saving and suitable for smaller properties.
- Mega Flow and mains pressure systems – suitable for larger properties and does not require a water tank.
- Open vented stored hot water systems - this system works on water fed from storage tanks. Hot water can be stored and then pumped to provide excellent pressure for showers and baths. Water storage tanks are required.
We install a wide range of boilers including Keston, Valiant, Glow-worm and Worcester Bosch.
Our engineers will fit central heating systems to suit the property and to meet building regulation requirements. We take care of all stages of the process from start to finish.
External Landscaping, Groundwork and Drainage
We can undertake groundwork and drainage as part of a bigger refurbishment or as a separate project.
Our services include the following:
- Landscape gardening and design service. Including all stages of ground works, planting and building. We can offer a complete service.

Roofing, Roof Lights and Architectural Glazing
New House Services can undertake roofing projects in their own right or as part of a larger project.
We work with a variety of products and materials including:

- Single ply membranes
- Felt
We can offer 10, 15 and 25 year insurance backed guarantees on many of the products we fit.
In addition, we can fit and refurbish a variety of roof lights and architectural and structural glazing units, in most sizes, provided by our specialist suppliers.
Sash Window Refurbishment and Replacement
As part of a larger refurbishment we can completely overhaul and repair sash windows. This is an excellent and cost effective option where the sashes and glass are in poor condition, fit badly and where access to replacing windows at a high level would require scaffolding.
Each refurbished window undergoes the following treatment:
- All paint removed from existing sash and frame
- Repairs to wood as necessary
- Glass renewed (option to use acoustic glazing)
- Weathering strips and draft proof pile fitted
- Window sash and frames painted
- New sash cords and pulleys fitted
In addition, we can supply and fit double glazed sash windows.
Home Entertainment and Cabling
